Central Heights ISD Announces School Closure
for Monday, January 26, 2026
Central Heights Independent School District remains committed to keeping our students, staff, and families informed regarding matters that impact school operations.
After careful review of the countywide declaration of disaster and consideration of the potential for hazardous conditions, Central Heights ISD will suspend all school operations on Monday, January 26, 2026.
District leadership will continue to closely monitor weather and safety conditions throughout the weekend. Families are encouraged to regularly monitor the ParentSquare & StudentSquare app, along with the Central Heights ISD Facebook page and the district website, for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding any potential school closing announcements. Decisions regarding the resumption of normal school operations will be communicated as soon as additional information becomes available.
We sincerely appreciate your continued partnership, patience, and understanding as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our school community. We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
Please stay warm and remain safe.
Sincerely,
Justin Keeling, Superintendent
Central Heights ISD
